Giampiero enlisted with the US Army. He has been assigned to be a "tanker", which means he will learn to operate, maintain and repair the army tanks (Abrams). He will be going into bootcamp in Fort Knox, Kentucky on February 24th. There will be 9 weeks of basic training and then he will stay for an additional 5 weeks of tank training. After that we hope he can take some vacation time to spend at home (and a trip to California) then off to his first assignment. Chances are he won't be home for the baby's birth, but we are okay. I have my mother and sister here with me and I will stay living with them until we are able to join Giampiero on base.
We are all very proud of Giampiero for serving our country, providing for our family, and fulfilling one of his dreams.

Yay! Congrats to your family. Hope all goes well with training and taking care of two kids while being preggo. I can barely do this with two. Of course, not being pregnant makes it much easier on my body. I love not being pregnant anymore. Well, love you guys.
